Despite government efforts, Lang Son - a mountainous province bordering the north with a high percentage (nearly 84%) of ethnic minorities - still faces a housing challenge. Nearly 13,000 houses are unstable, and close to 6,200 households struggle with poverty or near-poverty.

At the conference, the nationwide "For the Needy" Fund and businesses joined forces to help eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for all poor households in the province by 2025. Notably, THACO pledged VND 5 billion to remove 100 such houses. This builds on Lang Son's impressive progress, having already mobilized support to construct over 3,200 houses exceeding VND 160 billion in total value.

THACO, a multi-industry corporation, is active in key sectors and committed to social responsibility initiatives like hunger eradication, education, sports, and traffic safety.

THACO President Pham Van Tai said: "In furtherance of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, THACO is pleased to announce the sponsorship of 100 houses for Lang Son province. These new homes will provide improved living conditions for low-income families, fostering their stability and development."
