THACO champions VND1 billion to Vietnam Women's Football team
To congratulate the national Women's Football team for their gold medal at the SEA Games 32, THACO announced to present VND1 billion VND to the team to encourage the players, the coaching staff and the team leaders.
Mr. Nguyen Mot, THACO Corporate Culture and Communication Director shared, "With their convincing 2-0 victory against Myanmar to win the 32nd SEA Games gold medal, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong asked to present the Vietnam Women's Football team a sponsorship of VND1 billion. Congratulations to the Vietnam Women's Football team and coach Mai Duc Chung."
Previously, on May 10, THACO AUTO announced to give a Peugeot 2008 SUV worth over VND900 million and 10% of personal income tax to athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh, the winner of 4 consecutive gold medals and a VND200 million sponsorship for the women track and field athletes who are currently competing at the 32nd SEA Games.
As planned, on May 17, THACO AUTO and the Vietnam Athletics Federation organized the car handover to athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh. At this ceremony, THACO AUTO also gave VND200 million to other track-and-field athletes competing at the 32nd SEA Games.
The 2008 Peugeot presented to the athlete is a GT-Line version priced over VND900 million, including taxes and fees. This is an impressive urban B-segment SUV boasting the latest Peugeot looks, featuring the lion-claw LEDs, strong embossed lines combined with dynamic chrome details on the sides.

With such donation, the Vietnamese corporation wanted to support the athletes, pay tribute to their effort and contributions to bring home the national pride, and to fulfill their social responsibilities as a well-established corporation towards the development of Vietnam's sports.
