On August 31, the National Football Super Cup - THACO Cup 2023/2024 was held at Thien Truong Stadium in Nam Dinh Province. The tournament was organized by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) in collaboration with Tien Phong Newspaper, with THACO serving as the diamond sponsor.

The National Football Super Cup - THACO Cup 2023/2024 was a match between Nam Dinh Steel (champion of the Night Wolf V-League 2023/2024) and Dong A Thanh Hoa (champion of the Casper National Cup 2023/2024).

Ultimately, Nam Dinh Steel emerged victorious over Dong A Thanh Hoa with a score of 3-0, clinching the National Football Super Cup - THACO Cup 2023/2024. This was the first-ever Super Cup title for Nam Dinh football, boosting the confidence of the Nam Dinh Steel team as they prepare for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.

For their victory, the Nam Dinh Steel team received a plaque, medals, and a cash prize of VND300 million. Notably, Rafaelson, a player from the team, was awarded both the First Goal Scorer and Best Player of the Match honors.
