On Jan. 8, at Thiskyhall Convention Center, Sala City, Ho Chi Minh City, THACO AUTO held the 2023 Business Plan Conference to set out strategies, goals and to upgrade management effectiveness for the year.

Attending the meeting were THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, THACO Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh, THACO President Pham Van Tai, THACO AUTO Standing Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thien My, THACO AUTO President Nguyen Quang Bao, THACO executive leaders and 600 leaders & potential leaders at THACO AUTO Head Office, THACO AUTO Chu Lai, Southern, Northern regions, leaders and potential leaders at provincial companies nationwide.

In 2022, THACO AUTO was the pioneer sub-holding in upgrading its management by implementing a comprehensive restructuring of production and business activities. The Head Office operates the production and business activities on a value chain from R&D, Production, Distribution, Retail, After-sales service. THACO AUTO adopts a 3-level management system (Head office, THACO AUTO Chu Lai/Region and Plants/Affiliated Companies) to ensure independence and compliance, synchronous and effective operations in each segment of production and business activities and at each company or affiliated company.

At the conference, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong noted the automobile sub-holding basically fulfilled the set strategy by producing a full range of vehicle segments, building the production and business system from R&D to production, distribution. He was especially proud of its retail system. THACO AUTO has acquired a unique production method with an appropriate organization structure. He added the leadership team was ready to take on their responsibilities and roles.

THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong emphasized, “The 2023 goal is to establish effective management to ensure work in accordance with right functions and duties, regulations and processes and is carried out in a sensible manner. It is also necessary to upgrade the management according to the structure, highlight the roles and responsibilities of the leadership team. In addition, we need to apply KPIs to evaluate work performance for the whole system.”

“Throughout our development, THACO has been making our best efforts to contribute to the development of the national economy. At THACO and sub-holdings, the staff members shall embrace such orientation as well. To do this, it is necessary to promote training programs, especially leadership and management training, improve employee professionalism and pay attention to HR development. Likewise, each employee needs to focus on their self-development to stay in line with new directions and trends," added the Chairman.
