Opportunities to learn and develop
In the first 5 months of this year, THACO delivered over 700 training programs, encompassing both theoretical and practical elements, as well as seminars on various topics. This commitment to employee development fosters knowledge sharing and experience exchange. THACO has plans to train nearly 2,500 personnel across the organization in 2024.
Mr. Hoang Nguyen Tan Tai, a new member of THADICO's Architectural Design Department was very excited: "THACO fosters a highly professional and structured work environment. The training programs are incredibly valuable - practical, relevant, and up to date with industry trends. I'm eager to participate in more courses to further develop my skills and knowledge."
THACO is actively building its workforce by recruiting nearly 15,000 employees in 2024. To achieve this, the company has implemented several initiatives: partnering with universities on training programs, participating in job fairs, and offering internship and job opportunities within THACO and Sub-holdings. These programs are to help students develop practical skills and foster the next generation of talented leaders with strong management abilities and high professional qualifications.
Employee well-being is prioritized across the system
Even amidst economic fluctuations in 2024, forcing many businesses to cut back, THACO remains committed to maintaining stable production and business activities, ensuring job security and consistent income for the employees. Its transparent salary and bonus structure, alongside comprehensive social security, health, and unemployment insurance plans, provide a strong foundation. THACO goes beyond by offering additional welfare programs to support the well-being of employees and their families.
Annually, THACO recognizes and celebrates achievements through individual and group awards. The company also encourages a healthy work-life balance by organizing cultural, artistic, and sports festivals or regular innovation competitions. THACO's commitment extends to the employees' families as well. They host special programs for employees' children on International Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, and even acknowledge their academic achievements. To further support the workforce, THACO has even constructed spacious housing areas for workers in Chu Lai and THACO AGRI agricultural complexes.
Since 2019, THACO has constructed a total of 2,528 houses across four complexes: Koun Mom (288 houses), Snuol (112 houses), Ia Puch (256 houses), and HAGL AGRICO Laos (1,962 houses). THACO is also building new convenience stores, gardens, and soccer fields to create a thriving and convenient living environment for its staff.
Mr. Chourng Phearum, a worker at Koun Mom Complex in Cambodia happily said: “At THACO AGRI, we are provided a stable income. And we're housed in very spacious, modern houses that come fully furnished. Plus, there are perks like free electricity, clean RO water and many other benefits, which make a real difference."
