THACO AUTO organizes business plan conference for second half of 2024
On July 6, THACO AUTO convened a conference at Thiskyhall in Thu Duc City to deploy the operational and management plan for the second half of 2024. This involved a comprehensive review of the achievements made in the first half of the year, followed by the development and implementation of strategies during the rest of 2024.
The conference boasted a distinguished list of attendees, including THACO's top leadership: Chairman Tran Ba Duong, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh, and President Pham Van Tai. Additionally, THACO AUTO's leadership team was well-represented, with the Permanent Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thien My and President Nguyen Quang Bao. Department heads from both THACO's corporate functions and THACO AUTO's business and production divisions, along with representatives from head offices, regional offices (North & South), R&D centers, factories, and companies across Vietnam, all participated in this gathering.
Key topics included strategic direction, system governance updates, and a detailed breakdown of the production, business, and management plans for the remaining months of 2024 for THACO AUTO, as well as its Business and Production Divisions, and both the North and South regions.
2024 marks the second year of THACO AUTO's five-year strategy (2023-2027). Despite a challenging market environment, THACO AUTO has implemented a comprehensive restructuring program to streamline administration, improve efficiency, and enhance its overall management capabilities. Additionally, THACO AUTO has actively deployed comprehensive business solutions to achieve their set targets.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong said: "THACO AUTO is THACO's core business line. Basically, THACO AUTO has formed a differentiated strategy, producing and trading all types of vehicles in all segments from mainstream to premium. THACO AUTO's value chain encompasses product research and development to production, distribution, and retail operations."
