The firm is providing full-service logistics from port services, warehouses to shipping, trucking and multimodal transport in the Central - Central Highlands, Laos and Cambodia, contribute to the development of the logistics network in the region.
In addition, Chu Lai Port has the advantages from large and regular freight sources from THACO which helps to solve the shortage of containers in countertrade imports and exports, cutting costs and time, benefiting customers. The port is submitting approval for the construction of its new 50,000-ton terminal, at the same time bringing home modern loading equipment to receive large-tonnage ships. On the other hand, THILOGI would propose that Quang Nam Province would speed up to dredge Ky Ha channel to a 10-meter depth and complete legal procedures to build Cua Lo channel for 50,000-ton ships entering and leaving Chu Lai port.
According to the port representatives, seaport projects in the Central region will face difficulties if there is no close connection between ports. Therefore, the local businesses ought to look for an effective cooperation model to attract goods from many regions, intensify IT applications in port operation, invest in eco electric equipment to build the "green port" model, gradually saving costs, improving competitiveness for businesses and driving the socio-economic development in the Central region.
