Since 2021, THACO has been actively investing in building comprehensive agricultural infrastructure in these 2 provinces in Laos. This project aims to establish large-scale, integrated, and circular agricultural models, creating significant economic value for both nations. Additionally, THACO is expanding its logistics operations in Champasak to support local businesses.
"This trip offers a chance for Quang Nam, Champasak, and THACO to explore new avenues of cooperation," said Mr. Tran Nam Hung, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam People's Committee. He called on Champasak leaders to facilitate partnerships between businesses from both provinces and THACO, and to create a favorable investment climate for THACO in the region.
During the meeting, Champasak Governor Alounxai Sounnalath praised THACO's industrial achievements in Quang Nam and its investments in Attapeu and Sekong.
He highlighted Champasak's potential for agricultural development, especially fruit cultivation, due to its mineral resources, abundant water, favorable climate, and strategic location along the East-West Economic Corridor.
