On 27 March 2016, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, National Assembly delegation and Mr. Phan Dien - former Politburo member, former Permanent Secretary of the Central Party Committee visited and worked at Chu Lai - Truong Hai Complex. From Quang Nam province, welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang - Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Dinh Van Thu - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee Chairman, Mr. Le Phuoc Thanh - Head of Provincial Parliament delegation, Mr. Vo Xuan Ca - Member of Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Father Front Committee, Mr. Huynh Khanh Toan - Deputy Chairman of People's Committee and representatives of the departments and the Management Board of Chu Lai open economic zone; from THACO, Mr. Tran Ba Duong - Chairman and the Complex Management Board attended the event.

On 27 March 2016, the Head Office has held firefighting and rescue rehearsal for nearly 40 officials and workers at the unit. The rehearsal was participated and directly instructed by Major Phan Quoc Truyen, Phu Nhuan District Firefighting Police Captain.

Following the KIA cars introduction and test driving program in Northern Branch, on 26 and 27 March 2016, Passenger Car Company collaborated with 7 Kia showrooms in Northern Branch to organize the program "Test driving & Feeling Kia cars" to numerous customers in the provinces of Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.

At the meeting, the delegation was introduced to the development of production and business of THACO and the complex; and made a tour around the vehicle, spare part and component manufacture - assembly factories and supporting units. Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tho highly appreciated the achievements that THACO has gained in production and business, contributing to the transportation development of the country.
