At the ceremony, THACO gave 200 million dong to the program "Loving arms to share the pain in traffic accidents", this is a program in the collaborating signing of "Ensure traffic order and safety during 2016 - 2018" between the National Traffic Safety Committee and THACO, under which each year THACO commits to accompany and support 200,000,000 dong to the fund to help the underprivileged victims and the families who have loved ones in unfortunate accidents.

Officially launched for the first time in 2013, the award Golden steering wheel has a great spiritual value to honor drivers, transportation businesses, transportation cooperatives contributing to traffic order and safety guarantee, raising awareness and responsibility of individuals and organizations participating in traffic. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Khuat Viet Hung said that drivers undertake the difficult, strenuous and crucial task when holding responsibility to many human lives, he expressed his wish that drivers always perform their jobs well under the slogan "Driving with all the heart" to bring peace and happiness to everyone.
