THACO and Mientrung University of Civil Engineering sign MOU on training and recruitment cooperation

In seeking to improve the university's training and research activities in line with production and business practices at enterprises, on April 21, THACO and Mientrung University of Civil Engineering signed a MoU on comprehensive cooperation. Attending the event were Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri, HR Director of THACO Chu Lai and Dr. Phan Van Hue, the university director.
THACO receives "The Golden Heart" medal from Vietnam Red Cross Society

On April 23, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society held a ceremony to launch Humanitarian Month 2023 and to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Attending the program were Vietnam President Vo Van Thuong, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, central ministries, branches and localities.
Laser-Cutting workshop: Spotlight in Chu Lai's “Waste elimination”

Laser-cutting workshop, under the mechanical complex company is in charge of machining mechanical parts and components. To improve its productivity and product quality as well as eliminate waste, the factory has launched different initiatives and improvements to save nearly VND1 billion and more than 8.5 tons of raw materials in 2022.

To strengthen the close ties between Vietnam - Laos - Thailand in general and between their provinces in particular, on April 9 and 10, in Pakse city, Champasak province, Laos, the forum was organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse in collaboration with the Champasak province office and the Vietnam E-commerce Association.
Chu Lai Port exports cassava chips from Laos

On April 10, the Truong Hai Star 3 transshipped 1,700 tons of cassava chips of VBS Investment and Commercial JSC from Chu Lai port to Hai Phong port, which then were transfered to the SITC KWANGYANG ship to go to China. The cassava chips were transported directly from Sekong, Laos to Chu Lai port.
