THACO sponsors "Beauty of the Crescent Moon" to empower disabled women
THACO Corporate Culture and Communication Senior Director Nguyen Mot participated in the "Beauty of the Crescent Moon" program on April 18. The program, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, celebrated the 26th anniversary of Vietnamese People with Disabilities Day.
The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union holds the "Beauty of the Crescent Moon" program annually to empower and celebrate disabled women. This year's program (2024) honored 20 exceptional women who overcame challenges, provided business grants and gifts to 18 women to support their families, and showcased products made by disabled women through 18 booths.
THACO joined the "Beauty of the Crescent Moon" program to empower disabled women. On International Women's Day (March 8, 2024), THACO pledged a 5-year sponsorship (VND 1.5 billion) to the "Beauty of the Crescent Moon" program. This ongoing support will run through 2028, with funds administered by the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union to directly benefit disabled women and their families' economic development.
