THACO AGRI develops internal instructors at complexes and subsidiaries
THACO AGRI has partnered with THACO College to launch a series of Internal Instructor training programs. These programs target experienced managers, engineers, and professionals across THACO AGRI's complexes, subsidiaries, and affiliated units, with the aim of enhancing overall employee skillset.
Upholding the aspiration to be ASEAN's leading agricultural corporation, THACO AGRI emphasizes large-scale, organic production with heavy mechanization. The company also prioritizes developing a highly skilled and professional workforce. However, its geographically dispersed operations across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia present challenges in training employees across its complexes, subsidiaries, and affiliated units. These challenges include distance, training format, location specifics, and managing training at scale.
To address training challenges due to its geographically spread workforce, THACO AGRI's Training Department partnered with THACO College to establish a team of internal instructors. These instructors will undergo training in pedagogical skills, lecture preparation and delivery methods, and curriculum development. This initiative will equip THACO AGRI with a workplace-based trainer pool, enabling them to optimize resources, proactively organize training sessions, and enhance employee professional development.
In June 2024, THACO AGRI's new internal instructors delivered practical training sessions at various workplaces. These sessions included: food processing machine operations in Ea H'Leo Complex (Dak Lak), new employee orientation in Koun Mom Complex (Cambodia), early detection of sick cattle, hygiene and safety practices in livestock farming, and grass planting techniques in Ia Puch Complex (Gia Lai).
With nearly 180 internal trainers, THACO AGRI, in collaboration with THACO College, is actively building comprehensive training resources including documents, lectures, and various training materials, ultimately improving the quality of training programs and boosting employee productivity.
THACO AGRI's Training Department is committed to expanding its internal instructor network across complexes and the corporation. This initiative aims to strengthen training programs for employees at all levels, with a focus on enhancing both professionalism and service skills.
