In the new academic year, THACO College focuses on vocational and technical training and soft skills for students, alongside education on industrial ethics and working style through scientific training programs and extracurricular activities. The college also leverages its advantage as a business-affiliated training institution, providing students with opportunities to intern and work at THACO factories and units, among whom those from high-quality classes are sent to work at maintenance and inspection centers in Japan.
Principal Phan Tiem of THACO College stated that as THACO expands its business operations both domestically and in Laos and Cambodia, along with the surge in digitization and automation, there are new demands for improving the quality of workforce training. THACO College will overcome challenges by continuously innovating management, education methods, curricula, and training quality assessment with the motto "Bridging the gap between school and factory, between production theory and practice."
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, praised the practice-focused education model implemented by THACO College. He expressed his hope that the college will continue its mission of training high-quality human resources to meet the development goals of the province and surrounding areas in the coming years. To achieve this, the college needs to enhance the quality of training and qualifications of its faculty, organize bridging courses for university and postgraduate studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, and other fields to supply high-quality labor for Quang Nam and the entire country.
