On March 16, at the Ton Duc Thang University football field in Ho Chi Minh City, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong attended the closing ceremony of the Vietnam Student and Youth Football Tournament 2025 – THACO Cup, aka TNSV THACO Cup 2025.

The event was also graced by Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper and the tournament's organizing board head.

The final match showed the great skills of two finalists: Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports. With smart strategy and good passes, the Thanh Hoa team emerged victorious with 2–1, marking their first championship in the tournament's history.

During the closing ceremony, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong and other delegates awarded the gold medals, a prize of 300 million VND, and the trophy to Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Not only a sports competition, the TNSV THACO Cup 2025 was also a testament to THACO's commitment to the community, particularly the younger generation, aiming to foster a dynamic, resilient, and dedicated generation contributing to the nation's growth.

Following the TNSV THACO Cup 2025, the Ton Duc Thang University football stadium will host the International Youth Student Football Tournament 2025 from March 24 to April 1.

The competition will feature six outstanding student teams from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Representing Vietnam are the TNSV THACO Cup champions - Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and host team Ton Duc Thang University. The tournament promises thrilling matches, with prizes set at $6,000 for the champions, $4,000 for the runners-up, and $2,000 for the third-place team.
