The Vietnam team has achieved its historic victory at the BMW Golf Cup - World Final 2024, claiming the championship title for the first time in the amateur golf competition, exclusively for BMW car owners.


The tournament’s world final, held from March 2 to 7, brought together over 250 golfers from 36 countries at the Alpine Golf Club, one of the most renowned courses in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vietnam’s representatives—Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, Ta Quang Duong, and Trinh Son Tung—secured their place in the global finals after excelling at the BMW Golf Cup – National Final 2024 in Vietnam. Over three days of competition, the team amassed a total score of 302, outperforming China (297 points) and Japan (291 points) to clinch the National Team Category title for the first time.

In addition to the team award, individual performances by the Vietnamese golfers stood out. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu (HCP 14) won 1st place in the Women category with 100 points (31-37-32). Ta Quang Duong (HCP 6) secured third place in Men Category 1 with 101 points (38-32-31), while Trinh Son Tung (HCP 12) claimed fifth place in Men Category 2, also scoring 101 points (33-37-31). The team’s great performance, and unwavering determination were pivotal in winning this victory for Vietnam at the BMW Golf Cup - World Final 2024.
