THACO promotes cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education
A delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (HCMUTE), led by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang, its Acting Principal, visited THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park on June 1. They were welcomed by Mr. Doan Dat Ninh, THACO AUTO Production Vice President and Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri, the Director of THACO Chu Lai Office.

Following their September 2023 MOU on cooperation, THACO and HCMUTE met on June 1 to discuss progress and future plans. The meeting focused on evaluating past training and recruitment initiatives, while outlining strategies for continued collaboration. THACO's ongoing support for the university included programs like "Career Orientation with THACO" and "Connect For Success 2023," which bridge the gap between students and potential careers.
Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang, HCMUTE's Acting Principal commended THACO's role in enhancing the university's training quality and expressed a desire for continued collaboration across various areas. He proposed initiatives like THACO's participation in student thesis defenses for recruitment and joint training programs to upskill THACO's technicians. HCMUTE also reaffirmed their commitment to facilitating recruitment and increasing THACO Chu Lai's workforce.
To enhance collaboration, THACO plans to develop joint training programs that equip students with the professional knowledge and skills needed, offer university transfer classes and postgraduate training tailored to worker upskilling needs, expand student engagement through internship programs and dedicated recruitment drives, bridge the gap between research and practice by facilitating the application of HCMUTE's research findings to THACO's production processes, and establish scholarship programs to reward students with exceptional academic achievements.

THACO further donated seven car engines and related equipment to the school. This donation will provide students with hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, enhancing their learning efficiency, practical skills, and ability to conduct research projects, ultimately contributing to a more advanced training environment at the university.
