In May 2016, THACO's sales reached 9,960 vehicles. In particular, total sales of Kia, Mazda and Peugeot passenger cars of THACO reached 4,912 vehicles, up 75% compared to the same period last year. Commercial vehicles reached 5,048 vehicles, up 33% over the same period last year. This is the 2nd consecutive month in which commercial vehicles sales are above 5000 units per month.

On the 91th anniversary of Vietnamese revolutionary press (21 June 1925 - 21 June 2016), on 11 June 2016, in HCM city, the southern Permanent Office of the Central Propaganda Department and HCMC Propaganda Committee coordinated with the southern Working Office - the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Journalist Association in HCM City, HCMC Department of Information and Communications, and HCMC Television to organize a press conference on the program "June Rendezvous" for the 2nd time in 2016.
