THACO's human resource development strategy during the digital era
As part of the "Governance Enhancement and Upgrade" program, THACO has identified human resource development as a key focus to meet its business development strategy, especially in the digital era.
According to THACO President Pham Van Tai, human resources are a crucial strategic pillar that determines the success or failure of the organization during its transformation journey. The THACO Podcast – Management Stories EP.25 highlighted the directions and solutions for this issue.

Adapting to labor market changes
With over 27 years of development, a clear vision and strategy, and a dedicated leadership team, THACO has built a strong, reputable brand leading in many key business sectors in Vietnam. By promoting the digital transformation strategies in production, business, and management, THACO has become an attractive employer for new talent. Additionally, the corporation also places significant emphasis on training and developing human resources to create growth opportunities for employees and enhance the company's competitive advantage in the digital era.

THACO's human resource development strategy aligns closely with the business strategies of its Sub-holdings, while also being flexible to adapt to market fluctuations. President Pham Van Tai emphasized the necessity of training and encouraging innovation: "To adapt to changes, THACO focuses on training in IT skills, digital transformation (implementing ERP, apps and software), and promoting innovation and improvement in production and business, while also enhancing compliance with processes and regulations." He also mentioned that THACO continuously improves its employee evaluation system to outline development paths for staff in the new growth period.
However, this innovation journey is not without challenges. Generation Z – the young, intelligent, and creative workforce – needs time to accumulate experience and develop the diligence required to meet business demands. Meanwhile, some veteran employees struggle to change their mindset and adapt to new technologies. This is a complex issue that requires perseverance and a long-term strategy from THACO's leadership.
Attitude as a key factor for employee development
President Pham Van Tai highly appreciates THACO's workforce over the years, particularly their positive attitude, unity, commitment, and willingness to learn. Employees have worked efficiently, even under pressure, and proactively adapted to enhance work performance. This is a crucial foundation for the team's strength in the new development phase.
"A positive attitude turns difficult tasks into easy ones, and the impossible into possible. Attitude is the foundation that helps employees overcome challenges and seize opportunities for growth," shared President Pham Van Tai.

To leverage collective strengths and create a "Cultural - Convenient" working environment, in 2025, THACO will continue to focus on key people development activities such as: establishing clear and transparent reward mechanisms for innovative improvements in production, business, and management, emphasizing skill training and promoting innovative thinking at all levels; and improving the KPI performance program to motivate the entire team.
Creating a multigenerational cohesive work environment
With the trend of a younger workforce, THACO places special emphasis on connecting different generations of employees. President Pham Van Tai highlighted, "Gen Z is gradually becoming the main workforce characterized by dynamism, technological proficiency, and flexibility. Building harmonious connections between generations and between them and the company is extremely important."

To maximize the potential of all generations of employees, THACO focuses on integration training for new staff and promotes internal networking and sharing activities to enhance cohesion and mutual understanding. THACO provides equal development opportunities for each employee through training, coaching, and skill development programs tailored to each group, aiming for a united and sustainable team.
With clear strategies and directions, THACO strives to build a strong workforce ready to adapt to changes and contribute to the sustainable development of the Group.
