THACO supports students in need, inspires technology interest
10 Road to Olympia scholarships for Khanh Hoa Students
On July 20, THACO cooperated with Vietnam Television, Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training to award Road to Olympia scholarships in Q3 2025 to 10 high achievers living in hardship. Each scholarship worth 10 million VND provides practical support for students on their academic journey.
This activity was especially meaningful as it coincided with the achievement of Doan Thanh Tung, a student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted at Khanh Hoa province, who recently won the Q3 Road to Olympia Peak competition in 2025. This has been a source of pride to the province, as well as an inspiration for other students to keep trying in their studies.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Son, THACO AUTO Khanh Hoa General Director, presented scholarships to the students. Among them, Thai Tam Doan, a 12th grader at To Van On High School, Khanh Hoa was one of the outstanding example. Lacking parental love, Doan has been consistently achieving excellent achievements for 3 consecutive years and actively participating in school activities. She dreams of becoming a doctor to help needy patients like her own family.
The Road to Olympia scholarship program, sponsored by THACO since 2020, has granted hundreds of scholarships nationwide, aiming to support poor students in overcoming difficulties and nurturing the young academic dreams.
Creating AI access opportunities for high school students
Previously, THACO also sponsored the "CSE Summer School" program organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University. The playground was dedicated for students who love technology, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
As the program’s diamond sponsor, THACO helped create conditions for high school students to access Computer Science and Information Technology. The program featured in-depth series on AI Agents, providing updated knowledge about modern technology trends, while bringing practical sharing from leading experts and lecturers.
This year's program attracted participation from students from more than 30 universities and high schools nationwide. Attending the event, Mr. Huynh Tan Khai, Director of Software Development and AI Research at THACO INDUSTRIES, along with IT staff at THACO and Sub-holdings presented the AI applications at the corporation.
