From November 15 to 17, the inaugural Thu Duc Innovation Fest (TDIF 2024), an international science, technology, and innovation festival, took place in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. THACO was a partner of this event.

TDIF 2024, Vietnam's first outdoor technology festival, drew over 100,000 attendees. The event brought together leading experts, engineers, and innovative businesses from Vietnam and abroad, as well as tech enthusiasts, to showcase and discuss the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, digital healthcare, smart city solutions, and more. The festival aimed to connect cutting-edge technology and the public.

At the event, THACO AUTO and THACO INDUSTRIES, two of THACO's Sub-holdings, introduced their innovative technological solutions. These included high-tech products and automated solutions for manufacturing, commerce, and services.

THACO AUTO presented its Digital Showroom, a virtual reality and augmented reality-powered solution. This innovation offers a personalized and immersive shopping experience, allowing customers to virtually explore showrooms, configure vehicles to their exact specifications.

The THACO’s automotive Sub-holding has launched a 'virtual showroom' feature that provides a realistic simulation of a physical showroom, enabling customers to browse vehicles, select options, and customize their cars according to their preferences in terms of colors, specifications, or equipment packages, helping them save time and make informed purchase decisions.

Meanwhile, THACO INDUSTRIES brought a range of localized components and parts for the KIA K3 model, as well as automated solutions for manufacturing, commerce, and services, notably the AI-powered robotic assistant TIAR and Autonomous Mobile robots for food delivery.

With a well-invested R&D center, THACO INDUSTRIES is actively applying specialized software and smart digital technologies to its research activities. The company has been developing innovative solutions for its own manufacturing and business operations, as well as for other Sub-holdings under THACO, both local and international partners and customers.

Through this event, THACO aimed to enhance its brand visibility, showcase innovative technological solutions, and develop partnerships with potential partners. The company also sought to provide a more engaging car-buying experience for customers of THACO AUTO, while opening new future collaboration opportunities for THACO INDUSTRIES.

In addition to exhibits, TDIF 2024 also offered a variety of interactive activities, including music, seminars, drone racing, and workshops on AI, smart cities, and innovation.

THACO has set the objective to becoming a large-scale, multi-industry industrial corporation and achieving digital transformation by 2027. In 2024, the company enters the second year in its multi-industry strategy and five-year plan (2023-2027), which includes building a comprehensive digital platform with member platforms to support its operations, building a customer-centric management model which aligns with the large-scale multi-industry model and digitally adaptable workforce development strategies. THACO has been gradually building digital roadmaps suitable for specific requirements of each business area which its Sub-holdings are specializing in.
