THACO President attends opening ceremony of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024’s final round
On November 1, at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium, Mr. Pham Van Tai, THACO President, attended the opening ceremony of the final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024.
After nearly two months of competition at the qualification rounds in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Nghe An, and Bac Ninh, the tournament has identified the 16 best teams to compete in the national finals. The teams are divided into four groups, playing a round-robin format to determine rankings. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and then finals.
The national finals will take place from November 1 to 3 at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium, with total prizes amounting to VND410 million. The national champion will receive VND150 million, the runner-up will get VND100 million, and the third and fourth place teams will receive VND60 million and VND40 million, respectively.
The organizers will also present other awards, including best player, top scorer, best goalkeeper, most fair-play team, most impressive cheering squad, and best referee team. Each of these awards is valued at VND10 million.
This is the second year that THACO has partnered with the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament, aiming to contribute to building a dynamic, sports-loving community and promoting the development of national football.
