THACO leader attends seminar “Identifying and Promoting the Cultural and Human Values of Quang Nam in the New Era”
On October 8, the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, in collaboration with the Regional Political Academy III, held a scientific conference titled "Identifying and Promoting the Cultural and Human Values of Quang Nam in the New Era."
The conference was chaired by Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Trieu Long, Member of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Regional Political Academy III; and Mr. Vo Xuan Ca, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department. The event was attended by nearly 150 delegates, including scientists, managers, and representatives from various departments. THACO Chu Lai Deputy Director, Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri, also participated and presented a report.
In his opening remarks, Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet underscored the vital role of culture in socio-economic development and the execution of the 13th Party Congress Resolution. He noted, ‘The conference aims to clarify theoretical and practical issues in recognizing and promoting cultural and human values, creating resources for Quang Nam to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.’ This initiative is part of the preparations for the 23rd Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The conference featured 52 reports from scientists and researchers nationwide, covering topics such as the promotion of Quang Nam's traditional cultural values in developing the culture and people of Quang Nam in the new era, leadership in cultural policy development, and strategies for developing cultural heritage for provincial growth.
In his presentation titled ‘THACO Culture, Building Industrial People at THACO Chu Lai’, Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri highlighted THACO's cultural framework, emphasizing, ‘Culture is the foundation to harness internal strength, helping businesses navigate through fluctuations and challenges in the context of deep international integration and competition. Culture is not only a tool but also a strategic goal and a factor that drives management.’
THACO's culture, defined by industrial discipline and the "8T principles," aims to cultivate a workforce characterized by compassion, dedication, honesty, dynamism, creativity, and discipline.
THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, in his 2022 Message, emphasized that a company's representation extends beyond its products to the conduct of its employees, who serve as brand ambassadors in their daily interactions.
The combination of Quang Nam's abundant workforce potential and the disciplined culture of THACO lays the groundwork for developing human resources at THACO Chu Lai. This initiative aims to create an "industrial workforce" characterized by technical expertise, creative thinking, discipline, industrial demeanor, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Over the past two decades, the transformation of Quang Nam from a land of white sand and cacti into a multi-industry industrial hub, now an "industrial symbol" of the province, has been a testament to the development of local human resources into an industrial workforce. This journey, marked by dedication and intellect, has led to today's success. Building an "industrial workforce" to develop high-quality human resources is one of the three strategic breakthroughs to achieve the socio-economic development goals outlined by the 13th Party Congress Resolution.
The discussion on building an industrial workforce received high praise from delegates, offering a comprehensive perspective on the cultural and human values of Quang Nam in the context of the nation's industrialization and modernization efforts.
