THACO hosts 2025 Year-Opening Ceremony

On February 3, at the THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park (Quang Nam), THACO hosted its 2025 Year-Opening Ceremony. The event was streamed live to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Gia Lai, 56 provinces and cities across Vietnam, as well as in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and South Korea.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, Head of Quang Nam National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of Quang Nam Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During the ceremony, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong emphasized that 2025 is the third and pivotal year of its 5-year plan (2023-2027). By the end of 2027, THACO aims to become a regional multi-industry industrial group fully integrated into the international economy, governed comprehensively on a digital platform, and with sustainable development.

Responding to the Chairman's 2025 Message, leaders of THACO and Sub-holdings demonstrated high determination and set forth breakthrough solutions to accomplish the 2025 plan and the goals outlined for 2027. THACO President Pham Van Tai highlighted in 2025, THACO and its Sub-holdings will continue to make new achievements in production and business, focusing on the governance refinement and upgrade, which are core factors ensuring THACO's sustainable development. Other key focus areas include accelerating digital transformation and developing human resources.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, praised THACO's excellent efforts in 2024: "THACO has overcome the challenges of 2024, a difficult and challenging year, achieving commendable growth results. This confirms the strong and solid foundation of THACO."

The provincial party secretary called on THACO's leadership and employees to continue leveraging their internal strength, constantly innovating, building appropriate strategies and roadmaps, proactively adapting to new economic developments, and achieving set goals. He emphasized the importance of continuing to create a convenient environment, fostering a culture of real work that creates real value; promoting digital transformation and digital-based governance; investing in technology upgrades and expanding scale; and continuing to build a sustainable multi-industry industrial group model. This will affirm THACO's aspiration for strong development and its mission to lead the country into a new era of the nation's rise.

Immediately following the New Year Opening Ceremony, THACO held ceremonies to launch construction projects, introduce new vehicle products at the THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park, and export the first shipments in 2025 at Chu Lai Port.

THACO’s projects in Chu Lai inaugurated in early 2025 are key projects that contribute to realizing the Quang Nam province's planning during 2021-2030. These projects aim to promote the manufacturing and assembly of automobiles, mechanical, electrical, and electronic products; establish a national multifunctional mechanical and automotive center; develop the supporting industries associated with logistics services including seaports, airports, and railways; stimulate economic growth in central Vietnam, contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization. These projects also commemorate the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam's Liberation Day (March 24, 1975) and the 23rd Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. THACO commits to continuing investment, expanding production scale, enhancing competitiveness, and affirming its position on the international stage.
