On February 3, at the THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park (Quang Nam), THACO hosted its 2025 Year-Opening Ceremony. The event was streamed live to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Gia Lai, 56 provinces and cities across Vietnam, as well as in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and South Korea.

Immediately following the New Year Opening Ceremony, THACO held ceremonies to launch construction projects, introduce new vehicle products at the THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park, and export the first shipments in 2025 at Chu Lai Port.

THACO’s projects in Chu Lai inaugurated in early 2025 are key projects that contribute to realizing the Quang Nam province's planning during 2021-2030. These projects aim to promote the manufacturing and assembly of automobiles, mechanical, electrical, and electronic products; establish a national multifunctional mechanical and automotive center; develop the supporting industries associated with logistics services including seaports, airports, and railways; stimulate economic growth in central Vietnam, contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization. These projects also commemorate the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam's Liberation Day (March 24, 1975) and the 23rd Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. THACO commits to continuing investment, expanding production scale, enhancing competitiveness, and affirming its position on the international stage.
