THACO endows charity house in Quang Nam province
To celebrate the 77th anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and the National Day of September 2, THACO and Quang Nam Military Command on August 25 presented a charity house to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tan whose husband was a martyr in the Vietnam war.
Residing in Ngoc My village, Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city, the family is in a particularly difficult situation. Thanks to THACO’s financial support as well as efforts from Tam Ky Military Command and neighbors, after more than 2 months of construction, the house was solidly built amidst the joy and excitement of the recipient family. Spanning over 60 square meters, ensuring quality and aesthetics, the house now brings peace of mind to the family, especially when the rainy season is coming near.
This was the first charity house to be handed over out of 4 of which construction costs are covered by THACO in Quang Nam this year, the equivalence to VND320 million. Donating charity houses is a social activity in response to the movement “Vietnam people take care of families of war invalids, martyrs and people with revolutionary merits" to demonstrate the gratitude and share with the families to overcome difficulties.
