THACO College starts school year 2023 - 2024
On Nov. 17, THACO College commenced the 2023-2024 academic year and commemorated the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20). The ceremony was graced by representatives from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, authorities of Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province, and training academies. THACO Chu Lai Board members, as well as the teachers and students of the school, were also present.
THACO College achieved significant outcomes during the 2022-2023 year. Vocational and college enrollment surpassed 98% of the established target, and a 90% of graduates secured employment upon graduation. The college collaborated with local Employment Centers in Nam Giang, Dong Giang, Phuoc Son (Quang Nam), Ngoc Hoi, and KonPlong (Kontum) to train 174 students and provided them with employment opportunities at THACO AGRI's farms in Laos and Cambodia, developing quality human resources and job creation for mountainous communities.
The school also provided professional, management, and soft skills training to over 7,700 employees, while occupational safety training was administered to nearly 15,300 THACO employees.
To develop high-quality workforces to cater to THACO's production needs, THACO College is committed to innovative management practices, refining training programs and curricula, elevating the quality of teaching and learning methodologies, and expanding its faculty base while enhancing the expertise of its lecturers. It will also modernize facilities and invest in cutting-edge equipment to enhance training activities, capitalize on its unique position as a corporate training facility, guarantee that graduates are readily employable at THACO companies and units, and broaden the scope and fields of training.
Aligned with THACO's strategic focus on agricultural investments, THACO College will partner with THACO AGRI to enroll 400 students, prioritizing training in cultivation, animal husbandry, accounting, and veterinary medicine, to address the manpower needs of the company's agricultural complexes.
On this occasion, THACO College bestowed diplomas to graduating students of Class 12 and recognized students with high achievements in studying and training.
