THACO Chu Lai hosts conference to implement 2025 operational and management plans
On January 17, THACO Chu Lai held a conference to outline its 2025 business and management plans, aiming to set goals and solutions for the year. The objective is to continue developing Chu Lai into a new-generation, green, smart, modern, and sustainable multi-industry industrial ecosystem. THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong attended and delivered his directive speech.

The conference was attended by Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quang Nam Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of Quang Nam People's Council, and Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of Quang Nam People's Committee, and Head of Quang Nam National Assembly delegation.

In 2024, despite economic fluctuations, THACO remained committed to its multi-industry development strategy, continued to expand investment scale, and made new achievements in production, business, and management at THACO Chu Lai. Last year, THACO Chu Lai contributed over VND 19,300 billion to Quang Nam's budget.
2025 is the third year of THACO's multi-industry strategy and five-year plan (2023-2027), and the plan to develop Chu Lai into a new-generation multi-industry industrial ecosystem which is green, smart, modern, and sustainable. In 2025, THACO will focus on projects at Chu Lai, including expanding the Mechanical - Automotive Industrial Park, the port, logistics, and non-tariff zone project, dredging the Ky Ha channel with a 9.3- meter depth, the non-tariff zone, Tam Hoa port, and Cua Lo channel project; and phase 1 of the Chu Lai urban area.
To ensure the success of the production and business strategy in the new period, THACO's Sub-holdings at Chu Lai are actively innovating, implementing the management upgrade program, developing breakthrough solutions, aiming to achieve the best results for 2025 and the goals set for 2027.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised THACO's business results at Chu Lai over the past year, which contributed to over 60% of the provincial budget. He also highlighted its role in stabilizing social welfare, particularly in job creation and developing a high-quality industrial workforce. Quang Nam Province commits to delivering continued support, lift barriers, and create favorable conditions for THACO to complete its projects and plans for 2025 and its five-year plan (2023-2027), in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam’s liberation and the 23rd Provincial Party Congress for 2025-2030 term.

In his directive speech, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong affirmed: "THACO's success today is thanks to Chu Lai. So, when developing any new business fields, my first thought would be how to develop the business in Chu Lai, Quang Nam."
The year 2025 has a special meaning, in which successful implementation will drive THACO's development for decades to come. THACO will begin strategic key projects to ensure sustainable development for both THACO Chu Lai and Quang Nam province. These include developing Cua Lo channel to accommodate 50,000-ton ships to cut transportation costs, an urban area, and especially the agriculture business to enable farmers to join the value chain. Additionally, the Chairman emphasized "loyal partnership", the THACO's business philosophy to create value, the one which has been well proven over the last 21 years in Chu Lai, with increasing value for the people, the province, and the country as a whole.

To recognize creative and hard work of employees from Sub-holdings, companies, and units in Chu Lai, THACO's leadership awarded 15 teams and 45 individuals for their outstanding achievements in 2024.
