On July 12, Vietnam Family Magazine hosted the award ceremony for its 2nd annual "Father and Daughter" Writing Contest in Hanoi. THACO was one of the program sponsors.

The ceremony welcomed distinguished guests including Mr. Le Quoc Minh, a member of the Party Central Committee, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Commission, the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and journalist Ho Minh Chien, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, who also served as the Head of the Organizing Committee. THACO was represented by Mr. Le Hoang Lan, Communications Manager from the Hanoi Office.

Celebrating the special bond between fathers and daughters, the 2nd annual "Father and Daughter" Writing Contest launched in March 2024, encouraging entries in various writing styles, from essays and diaries to personal notes. The contest attracted nearly 1,000 submissions from both Vietnamese and international authors over two months.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Minh, the "Father and Daughter" contest has become a powerful platform for expressing heartfelt emotions. Daughters share their love and respect for their fathers, while fathers' sacrifices for their daughters shine through in the stories. These narratives resonate with readers, allowing many to find a piece of their own lives within them. He looked forward to Vietnam Family Magazine keep generating new ideas and organizing more meaningful and engaging activities in the future.

Writer Nguyen Mot, THACO Corporate Culture and Communication Senior Director, member of the jury once shared about the contest: "Technical aspects are important, but for me, the 'Father and Daughter' contest truly shines in capturing the emotions, honesty, and heartfelt voices of fathers and daughters.  In a world filled with writing contests, the theme of family love, particularly the unique bond between fathers and daughters, has a universal appeal that can touch everyone's heart."
