THACO AUTO stays active with fitness and sports activities after work
To foster a vibrant employee culture, many THACO AUTO departments have taken the initiative to organize fitness and sports activities to promote team spirit and camaraderie among employees outside of work hours.
Launched in January 2024, THACO AUTO's employee wellness program offers a variety of activities like football, badminton, tennis, volleyball, and running. This program has created a valuable space for employees to prioritize their health, fostering a culture of physical fitness and teamwork. Beyond relaxation and stress relief, these activities promote positive values and build a strong foundation for the company's overall growth.
With over 10 years of experience at the company, Ms. Ha Thi Thanh Xuyen, a Deputy HR Manager at THACO AUTO Quang Ninh shared: "Even during the chilly winter months, with temperatures around 14-15 degrees Celsius, many have embraced the running program with enthusiasm. This activity goes beyond just a race; it fosters a sense of connection and camaraderie among us. Just like on the running track, I believe that by working together, our team can overcome any challenge at work. This is a valuable way for us to unwind and destress after a demanding workday."
Mr. Pham Xuan Sinh, a BMW sales consultant at THACO AUTO Nghe An said: "Out of all the sports I've tried, tennis has become my favorite. Initially, it didn't grab my attention, but watching it more revealed the beauty and skill involved in those amazing shots. This newfound appreciation sparked a passion, and I started playing with colleagues at THACO AUTO Nghe An. Now, practicing and participating in our after-work tennis club has become more than just a sport. It's a valuable way to improve my health, build endurance, and achieve a better work-life balance."
As the organizer of sports activities at the unit, Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, the Chairman of THACO AUTO Kien Giang Trade Union expressed: "Initially, attracting participants after work proved challenging due to family commitments. To address this, I collaborated with the Board of Directors to implement flexible weekly schedules, making it easier for everyone to join. So the initiative has been proven a success. At THACO AUTO Kien Giang, sports participation has become a regular habit, with strong engagement in football and badminton. For our new unit, these activities have played a vital role in fostering team spirit, unity, and collaboration among employees."
Participating in badminton, Mr. Do Ngoc Khoa, an auto part Sales Consultant at THACO AUTO Binh Trieu shared: "As a badminton enthusiast with years of experience in tournaments, I eagerly joined the company's badminton program when it launched. It's a good opportunity to connect with colleagues and unwind after stressful work."
THACO, and particularly THACO AUTO, prioritizes the overall well-being of its workforce. Beyond annual health checkups, THACO AUTO actively promotes employee health through engaging after-work fitness and sports programs to enhance employees' physical and mental well-being, fostering a positive, productive, and "civil-convenient" work environment at THACO AUTO.
