THACO AUTO maintains a 14-year partnership with Phu Nhuan District Social Fund

On December 8, at the Rach Mieu residential area in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, THACO AUTO participated in the fundraising walk "Supporting the Needy 2024." This marks the 14th consecutive year that THACO AUTO has supported this program.

Throughout its 27 years of development, THACO AUTO has consistently emphasized social responsibility, participating in activities to support those in need, scholarship programs, and educational initiatives. Notable efforts include donations to the "For the Needy" Fund initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the "Blood Donation" program in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross. Upholding this spirit, THACO AUTO donated VND500 million to the Phu Nhuan District Social Fund 2024 during the program's opening ceremony.

Since its first launch in 2002, the fundraising walk has become a meaningful tradition, embodying the spirit of community support and contributing to the improvement of both the cultural and material lives of Phu Nhuan District residents. With over VND11.6 billion raised, the Phu Nhuan District Social Fund is committed to building and repairing charity houses, awarding scholarships, providing health insurance cards, supporting livelihood means, and giving gifts to disadvantaged families in the area.

This year, the walk attracted over 4,000 participants, including more than 60 employees from THACO AUTO Phu Nhuan, covering a 3.2km route through Hoa Phuong, Truong Sa, Phan Dinh Phung, Phan Dang Luu, and Phan Xich Long streets.

Mr. Phan Thanh Tung, a Marketing staff member at THACO AUTO Phu Nhuan, who arrived early at the event, shared: "I am very excited to participate in the fundraising walk. This is an opportunity for me and my colleagues to contribute to the lives of people in difficult circumstances in Phu Nhuan District. I find the program very practical and meaningful, and I hope it will continue in years to come so that more units can participate, spreading the spirit of solidarity and community support."
