THACO AUTO hosts groundbreaking ceremony for BMW-MINI Retail.Next showroom complex in Bien Hoa

On March 28, THACO AUTO broke ground on the BMW-MINI Retail.Next showroom complex in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province. The event was attended by executives from THACO, THACO AUTO, THADICO, and senior leaders from the BMW Asia Group.

This marks Vietnam's second BMW-MINI showroom adhering to the global Retail.Next standards, following the BMW-MINI-BMW Motorrad showroom complex in Binh Duong, which was inaugurated in 2023. The project in Bien Hoa is a significant investment, with a total budget of 240 billion VND. It is being constructed on a plot spanning over 19,300 square meters, with the showroom occupying 4,000 square meters.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Jean-Philippe Parain, BMW Senior Vice President, Regions Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, expressed enthusiasm: “I'm really excited that the second Retail.Next showroom is being built here in Vietnam. It's setting a whole new standard for customer experience and really shows how committed BMW Asia and THACO AUTO are to working together to give customers excellent value.”

Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, the THACO AUTO President, emphasized the strategic importance of this development: “Building this new BMW-MINI Retail.Next showroom in Bien Hoa fits right in with THACO AUTO and BMW's plan to expand. We really want to give customers a great experience and top-notch service when they come to check out or buy a BMW.”

Located on 2A Street in Bien Hoa Industrial Park, An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City, the complex strategically connects the Southeast and Southwest regions of Vietnam. Once completed, the facility will feature three levels: two above-ground floors dedicated to vehicle services and displays, and a basement. The architecture boasts a tropical-inspired design, with flexible interiors, multifunctional spaces, and open, airy layouts.

A feature of the Retail.Next standard is its integration of cutting-edge digital technology. Customers will be able to explore BMW models through the Emotional Virtual Experience (EVE) on 3D digital screens or by scanning QR codes to access detailed information of the models.
