THACO AUTO announces business plan for last 6 months of 2023

On June 18, THACO AUTO held a business conference to evaluate the results in the first 6 months and set out the operation and management plans for the last 6 months.

Attending the meeting were THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, THACO Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh, THACO President Pham Van Tai, THACO AUTO Standing Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thien My, leaders of Sub-holdings, leaders & potential leaders at THACO AUTO Head Office, Southern, Northern, Chu Lai offices, along with its branch companies across the country.

In 2023, THACO enters the new development stage as a multi-industry corporation, and celebrates its 20 years' investment in Chu Lai. THACO AUTO is THACO's key Sub-holding which manufactures and retails a full range of automobiles (trucks, buses, passenger cars) in different segments (mid-range and premium) under international and THACO brands.

THACO AUTO is the first Sub-holding after its comprehensive restructuring into a multi-industry corporation. The conference took place amidst the world economy in general, and Vietnam's economy was showing signs of decline and crisis. THACO AUTO is committed to taking the active role in making changes in line with the market, focusing on improving and upgrading governance, striving to reach the strategic goals in 2023.

In the conclusion of the conference, THACO Chairman emphasized, THACO AUTO is to build a long-term and effective strategy, which is to become a leading automaker which manufactures and assembles vehicles of big brands, increases the local content with the help of THACO INDUSTRIES, organizes distribution operations, especially retail management to meet customer satisfaction, trust, and affection. In the last 6 months of 2023, together with the production and business targets, we will overhaul the entire workforce in each level, bringing THACO AUTO to a new height not only in terms of scale but a new mindset, step by step improving the business strategy to develop with the country.

In his report, THACO President Pham Van Tai presented the management plan for the last 6 months of 2023, notably the focal role of the departments in providing macroeconomic information, building storage for management-related data of THACO and Sub-holdings, operation management goals, plans of the operation management departments and more.

According to the THACO President, to fulfill the production and business targets, improving and upgrading governance needs to be done strictly. Such requirement is indispensable and urgent to serve production and business and workforce development in line with the corporation's new era, upholding the mission to deliver values to customers, partners and society.
