Taking place in Vientiane, Laos on April 4 and 5, the forum was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam in collaboration with the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Laos to connect Vietnamese technology developers with Laos’s government agencies and business community to promote commercialization, application and investment in innovative technologies in Laos’s key business sectors.

As a Vietnamese investor in agricultural production in Laos, THACO attended the forum with its smart agriculture booth displaying its products - bananas, pineapples, and mangoes.

At the forum opening ceremony, THACO President Pham Van Tai said, in Attapeu (Laos), THACO has planned and invested in large-scale agricultural complexes. The company is focusing on using mechanization and IT solutions in crops and livestock farming, planning and organizing banana farms and cattle farms as smart complexes based on a closed, integrated and circular value chain which aims to meet global agricultural standards.

On the other hand, THACO AGRI President Tran Bao Son attended the forum seminar on Technology Connection, Entrepreneurship and Innovations and shared the corporation's agricultural investment strategies in Laos, its Smart Complex model, the needs of high-quality workforce and the urge to seek cooperation with businesses in Laos to promote trades and business.
