To strengthen training and recruitment cooperation between universities and businesses, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) on June 22 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with THACO at THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park in Quang Nam province.

THACO is having big demands in recruiting high-quality personnel to work in its mechanics, automotive and logistics businesses. With more than 30 years' experience in training and research, UTH is the largest multidisciplinary institution in the field of transportation in southern Vietnam that provides competent professionals in Logistics and supply chain management, Mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering, Electrical engineering, Control and automation engineering, Construction engineering, Marine engineering.

Acknowledging the importance of the cooperation between universities and businesses in improving the workforce quality to meet the requirements of the labor market, THACO and UTH have discussed and agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch a 5-year cooperation program between the 2 parties in Human resource training, graduate student recruitment, technology research & transfer, and equipment financing.

The MOU signing will open job opportunities for the university's students after graduation, providing THACO with more high-quality human resources that meet its requirements and criteria.
