THACO AGRI presents Tet gifts to poor households in Gia Lai border commune
On the afternoon of Dec. 28, THACO AGRI partnered with Le Thanh Border Checkpoint Security and Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command to organize "Spring on Border - Warming people hearts" for disadvantaged people in Ia Dom Commune, Duc Co District, Gia Lai Province to celebrate the Lunar New Year of 2023.
Ia Dom is a border commune. Most of its poor households are Jarai ethnic people with lowquality education and living standards. In the program, THACO's agricultural sub-holding gave 100 gifts and medicines to those in need.
In addition to presenting gifts and providing medical examination and treatment, the Border Guard Command organized cultural exchanges and music performances for the local people to celebrate the New Year festival in a lively and joyful way.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Van Nghi, Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command said that these meaningful gifts would bring more happiness and support for the local underprivileged families and households in the new year, giving them more motivation and encouragement to overcome hardship and difficulties.
Apart from its main production and business activities, THACO AGRI also pays much attention to social welfare programs to take care of the well-being of the local people.
