On 18 October, in Chu Lai - Truong Hai port, Quang Nam People's Committee organized "Rehearsal of Oil Spill Responding Act 2016". The rehearsal was held by the provincial Department of Resources - Environment and Chu Lai - Truong Hai Port in collaboration with related provincial authorities and units. For the effects of the tropical depression on the China Sea, from 13 October, floods and storms flooded the provinces Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri, paralyzing traffic in many places, causing great damage to the people and properties. Under this circumstance, via Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, THACO has supported 500 million VND to the affected people.
