Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Planning and Investment visit THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park

On May 12, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra led a delegation of her Ministry, Ministry of Planning and Investment and Quang Nam officials on a visit to THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park. Welcoming the guests were Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, THACO AUTO President, Director of THACO Chu Lai Office, and other leaders also at the office.

At the meeting, the visitors listened to the development history, current production and business operations at THACO and Sub-holdings, and then made a tour around THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park. Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao reported the company's business results in the 2023 first quarter, then the inadequacies in investments to expand THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park, and proposed solutions to help it remove difficulties and boost production and export in the coming time.

In return, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra highly appreciated THACO's vision, strategy and business development model. The minister affirmed, "THACO is one of the leading private corporations in Vietnam to have a multi-industry ecosystem, which fits the country's development orientations. In the current times of messy global situation, economic recession, and so many difficulties in the domestic market, THACO needs to review, evaluate, and upgrade management to actively adapt and deal with difficulties.
