Kia APAC visits THACO AUTO

On Feb. 15 and 16, THACO AUTO worked with the delegation led by Mr. Ahn Kiseok, New President and CEO of Kia Asia Pacific (Kia APAC). Welcoming the guests were THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, THACO AUTO Standing Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thien My and THACO AUTO President Nguyen Quang Bao.

This was Mr. Ahn Kiseok's first visit to Vietnam as a senior leader of Kia APAC. The Kia delegation had a working session with THACO AUTO executive leaders to tighten the bilateral sustainable cooperation ties, discuss Kia's long-term strategic vision and opportunities for cooperation and development in the future.

At the meeting, the special guests visited THACO Kia Plant, Kia Dealerships with all-new identity in Southeast Asia at the Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Center in THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park. They all showed great appreciation towards the production potentials and capacity of THACO AUTO, as well as its facilities and equipment for production and operation.

During their visit, the Kia team paid a visit to Kia Tan Son Nhat, Kia Binh Tan dealerships and the Kia showroom in Thiso Mall in Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Ahn Kiseok expressed his satisfaction in the luxurious space, classy and professional service quality of Kia dealerships based on the global 3S standards, i.e. Sales - Service - Spare Part.

Facing the turbulent global economy, the two parties put the importance in promoting the comprehensive cooperation relationship between THACO AUTO and Kia APAC to maximize the commercial potentials towards the goal of sustainable development, sales and market share growth of Kia in Vietnam.

Previously, THACO AUTO also welcomed Mr. Yasuhiro Aoyama, Senior Managing Executive Officer of MAZDA MOTOR Corporation on Feb. 12 to 14. During their stay, the MAZDA MOTOR Corporation executive delegation visited the Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Center in THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park, the under-construction and operating 3S-standard Mazda dealerships in HCM City, Binh Trieu, Binh Duong, Bien Hoa, etc. Not only lauding the competitiveness in terms of scale, production, business, and system management capacity of the Vietnamese automaker, the MAZDA MOTOR Corporation also highly appreciated the scale of investment in facilities, high-quality training and professional services of THACO AUTO.
