In 2021 THACO Group will invest more than 17,000 billion VND for 3 pillars, a large amount will be poured into HAGL Agri
According to the updated content at the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, THACO Group plans to invest up to VND 17,247 billion this year, this figure is up 165% compared to last year.
Notably, the investment in THACO AGRI agri company will amount to 8,920 billion VND; investment for real estate company THADICO VND 4,739 billion; invested in THACO AUTO VND 3,451 billion; invested in logistics company THILOGI 137 billion VND.
Agri
THACO AGRI's agricultural segment is currently spread across 3 components. Accordingly, the company plans to spend 2,164 billion dong on fruit trees, 2,023 billion dong on cows, and 1,042 billion dong on pig farming. In addition, the company will pour an additional 3,691 billion VND to invest in HAGL AGRICO.
This year, THACO AGRI and HAGL AGRICO plan to plant thousands of new hectares, bringing the total planting area to nearly 31,000 hectares.
In the cow husbandry segment, THACO AGRI will invest in semi-grazing farms and fattening farms. In parallel, the company imports nearly 33,000 breeding cows, organizes breeding and breeding. It is expected that THACO AGRI's total herd of cows will reach nearly 44,000 by the end of the year. Total fattening cows by the end of the year will also be estimated at more than 13,000 heads.
The pig farming segment after THACO AGRI acquired from Hung Vuong Group has been boosted investment. The company's plan this year is to multiply the breeding herd to more than 43,000 heads and provide more than 82,000 piglets (including 50,000 pigs internally and 33,000 pigs outside). THACO AGRI also wants to develop the herd of pigs to 53,000 heads, and is expected to sell about 21,000 pigs (equivalent to 2,000 tons of meat).
