Course on materials technology in manufacturing automotive and mechanical components and parts

The course was organized by THACO INDUSTRIES in partnership with THACO College for 70 employees who are department managers, engineers and senior staff of its companies, factories and units.

The course was lectured by Prof. Dr. Tao Quang Bang from Da Nang University of Science and Technology. The learners were trained on structures of materials, alloys, phase diagram, the formation and structural changes of materials under impacts, characteristics and types of manufacturing methods for main materials used in the automotive industry, e.g. composite, glass, plastic, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc., how to choose standard materials, safety regulations, environmental and social impacts from material consumption.

With this course, learners are hoped to master the materials technology to select and use materials appropriately, study and apply methods of manufacturing and handling materials in production to create new products that are more durable, lighter and better quality, contributing to product quality improvements and meeting increasing market demands.
