Chu Lai Port handles 2,200 TEUs of cargo for SONGA TIGER vessel
Chu Lai port has recently received SONGA TIGER vessel of CMA CGM, a shipping company, carrying 2,200 TEUs of goods, i.e. 1,300 TEUs of imports and 900 TEUs of exports, marking the largest volume from an international vessel arriving at the port, compared to the previous average of 1,000 - 1,200 TEUs.
Having a tonnage of more than 23,400 tons, the 175.4 meter-long SONGA TIGER ship transports imported and exported goods, including spare parts, seat covers, garments, textiles, medical equipment, agricultural products... for long-term customers of Chu Lai port such as Quang Ngai Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Company, DH Textile, Shin Chang Vina, Xindadong, etc.

The shipping line is connecting major ports in Vietnam with ports in Asia with the route: Incheon - Ningbo - Shanghai - Laem Chabang - Manila - Quy Nhon - Chu Lai - Busan - Incheon - Dalian - Xingang - Shanghai. Currently, CMA CGM ships dock at Chu Lai port with a frequency of 10 times per month, meeting the increasing import and export demand of enterprises in the central region.
