Beware of fake THACO pages and applications to prevent recruitment frauds
THACO has recently found different fake websites bearing its names and its Sub-holdings which have been making recruitment frauds. Accordingly, the company staff are requested to share this information with relatives and friends to help prevent fraudulent acts.
Recently, a number of organizations and individuals have used THACO and its Sub-holdings' names (i.e. THACO AUTO, THACO INDUSTRIES, THACO AGRI, THILOGI, THADICO, THISO) and provincial companies to cheat and take advantage of customers. The most common tricks included asking for investment, making transactions, joining lottery groups, downloading applications, competency tests, etc.
These individuals and organizations have been asking applicants to participate in chat groups on Telegram to do interviews, competency tests and more. Then, they asked them to download applications, create accounts on lottery websites, e-commerce sites, etc. to wire online money to the accounts of fake organizations and individuals. One fake website is at: https://thacogroupvn.com/.
In the digital age, hi-tech scammers are using more sophisticated tricks, and recruitment scams are still unpredictable. THACO adopts 4 “nos” in its recruitment process, including:
- NO third-party apps or platforms to interact with candidates;
- NO recruitment fees;
- NO requirements of bank account information during recruitment;
- NO online competency tests;
Recruitment information of THACO and Sub-holdings is posted only on THACO's official channels:
