THACO President: “Technology and innovation are crucial for business growth”
"THACO recognizes technology and innovation as the driving force for business growth," asserted THACO President Pham Van Tai at the Techfest-Whise 2023 conference held in Ho Chi Minh City on Nov. 25. The event focused on "Unleashing the potential of national resources, empowering Vietnam's innovative startup ecosystem for global integration."
The program was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, and a host of prominent leaders from ministries, branches, provinces, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the event showcases over 30 technology hubs encompassing smart agriculture, green medicine, digital transformation, and more, featuring over 200 booths. THACO, one of its sponsors, actively supports initiatives that foster innovation within the startup ecosystem.
Emphasizing the role of technology and innovation, THACO President asserted, "THACO has embraced technology and innovation as the driving force of its success. With support and collaboration of the Ministry of Science and Technology, THACO has spearheaded numerous state-level scientific and technological research projects, resulting in over 200 initiatives and more than 2,000 improvements to production practices. These advancements have enhanced production and business efficiency, yielding substantial technological and economic value."

Initiated in 2015, Techfest Vietnam has become an annual event led by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Over the past eight years, it has served as a platform to nurture and promote a startup ecosystem, bridging connections within the region, across the nation, and globally. |
