THISO is focused on achieving business objectives and expanding its workforce to support the Group's five-year development and growth strategy (2023-2027).
A conference was held on July 13 by THISO and Thiso Retail to deploy operational and management strategies for the final six months of the year. The conference outlined THISO and Thiso Retail's goals and strategies for enhancing management practices to support business expansion under the "One destination - Multiple utilities and services" model. THISO envisions becoming a leading Commerce and Service Group that provides destinations creating immersive experiences aligned with contemporary trends. The company's mission is to deliver exceptional value to customers and partners, enhance community well-being, and contribute to national development.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tue, the THISO President acknowledged the ongoing market challenges but highlighted the company's significant achievements. The successful launch of Thiskyhall Café Lounge and the completion of the phase two of Thiso Mall Truong Chinh - Phan Huy Ich have introduced new and different customer experiences. Notably, Thiso Retail has reported the highest revenue in the first half of 2024, surpassing previous benchmarks set by Emart in Vietnam.
THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong commended THISO and Thiso Retail for their performance at the conference. He highlighted the critical importance of the second half of 2024 for THISO, emphasizing it as a foundational period for the company’s five-year strategic plan. The goal, he stated, is to position THISO as a force that shapes the commerce and service sector, aligning with global trends.
The THISO and Thiso Retail Board of Directors outlined clear roles and responsibilities, setting forth key objectives for the final six months of 2024. THISO will upgrade the second-floor rental space at Thiso Mall Phan Van Tri and initiate planning for phase three of Thiso Mall Truong Chinh - Phan Huy Ich to prepare for its 2025 launch. A focus on expanding the F&B portfolio through restaurants, cafes, and lounges will complement THISO's commercial and service ecosystem. Thiso Retail will expedite tailored business strategies for each market, aiming to retain existing customers and grow its membership base. The company will also revamp the logistics and display areas at Emart Phan Van Tri and prepare for the opening of its first Hanoi hypermarket in 2025.
To align development, business, and operations, THISO is implementing a three-tier management structure from the head office to divisions, corporations, and subsidiaries. Recognizing human capital as a core competency, the Group is prioritizing employee development, training, and well-being.
THISO and Thiso Retail employees must cultivate a growth mindset, fostering a positive work culture and enhancing management capabilities. This focus on continuous improvement will drive sustainable growth, facilitate regional and global expansion, and contribute to the Group's overall success.
