Attending the meeting were Mr Nguyen Hong Dien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, leaders of some departments, provinces, districts and communes. Representing THACO survey delegation, Mr Tran Bao Son, Director of the Northern Branch attended the event.
 
At the meeting, representatives of the survey team of THACO and Loc Troi reported the project proposal. Accordingly, the total area of the project is 682 ha including some communes: An Dong, An Khe, An Hiep, An Thai, Quynh Tho, Quynh Minh, etc. of Quynh Phu district. The project includes the following subdivisions: a river port, an industrial park, experimental fields, farms, and roads connecting the industrial park to National Highway 10. The delegation also gave details of the purposes, location, forms of land use, and the current status of the land which is expected to be constructed in each sub-zone, thereby recommending to the province the relocation, support, compensation and site clearance plans for the implementation of the project. Accordingly, the delegates strongly agreed on the need to build an industrial park, as well as recommending solutions to expedite the implementation.

To conclude the meeting, Mr Nguyen Hong Dien suggested THACO and Loc Troi Joint Venture to receive comments at the meeting, complete the project proposal, develop the mechanism of attracting and creating jobs for local people, especially in the project implementation areas. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee asked the relevant departments and agencies to base their functions and tasks to coordinate with the investors to carry out the investment steps. Quynh Phu District and neighboring provinces have to work closely with investors, departments, and branches of the province to develop and finalize the project proposals; reaching consensus among the people.
