On August 6, 2019, in the 11th Vietnam's M&A Forum, Investment Newspaper and AVM Vietnam announced the top 10 enterprises with best M&A deals and top 12 legal agencies as best advisors. 
THACO was among the list with its cooperation with HAGL Group. THACO Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh received the certificate of merit on behalf of THACO.
On August 8, 2018, THACO signed a cooperation agreement with HAGL Group, witnessed by government authorties of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
According to Vietnam's Prime Minister, this cooperation will make substantial contributions to the country as both sides can offer their own advantages to help each other grow.
