With the spirit "Youths forge ahead, volunteer, and contribute to national development", in 2016, THACO Youth Union actively participated in social works raised by Quang Nam Youth Union: "Frontier spring filled with humanity" with 200 gifts for the people at the frontier on Tet holiday with a total amount of 100 million VND, youth programs "I love my country" with the theme "Lighten the country roads" which brought power to the difficult villages with the amount of 80 million VND, providing living support to 5 youths in hardship; "Clean water for children"; "Journey to the frontier"; participating and supporting resources to "International volunteer" in Laos; accompanying "60th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Federation Traditional Day, etc. The total amount for such programs is over 420 million VND contributed by the youth unionists.

Acknowledging such spirit of THACO youths, at 2016 Youth Emulation Review Conference, Quang Nam union awarded the Certificate of Merit to THACO union for its contributions in social activities.
