THACO donates medical supplies to HCMC Cho Ray Hospital
THACO on Tuesday donated medical supplies to Cho Ray Hospital in the effort to relieve the current shortages of drugs and medical equipment.
The donation included syringes of all kinds, sterile indicator tape, biological indicator tubes for quick test results and cotton wool, equivalent to nearly $20,000.
As reported by the Ministry of Health, Covid-19 pandemic in 2 consecutive years has caused severe shortages and scarcity in raw materials, equipment and other medical biological products at medical facilities, both local and central levels.
No exception, Cho Ray Hospital lately has been short of different kinds of drugs and medical supplies, which has been causing troubles in its patient examination and treatment. With this aid, THACO wanted to contribute relief efforts for the supply shortage as well as helping treatment go smoother at the hospital.
The Vietnamese corporation previously donated to Cho Ray Hospital ECMO machines and nearly $350,000 for its Covid-19 fighting program.
