This is a KIA annual event in honoring excellent technicians in the region. 2 representatives from THACO KIA were Mr. Tran Nguyen Chanh (KIA Nguyen Van Troi) and Mr. Nguyen Phi Son (KIA Can Tho).

The contestants must go through a theoretical test and 4 practical tests in Car Electronics, Using diagnosis machines, Diagnosing car brakes, Diagnosing and repairing car body electrical system.

THACO's Nguyen Phi Son has excellently won a silver medal to enter the global KIA technical contest by the end of next month at South Korea's Seoul capital.
 
Over the years, THACO has constantly requested THACO to improve other skills apart from their expertise, especially English. Hopefully, this achievement will encourage THACO technicians to improve their skills, getting ready for the Vietnamese and international contests.
