THACO sponsors Vietnam’s Super Cup football match
In the competition, Vietnam U23 players Pham Xuan Manh and Phan Van Duc will play for Song Lam Nghe An, while 2017 Golden Ball winner Dinh Thanh Trung will lead the line for Quang Nam.
Admission to the match is free. The winners will receive VND300 million, and the others VND200 million.
At the February 7 press conference held for the match, THACO Communications Director Mr. Nguyen Mot said, “Embracing the THACO CSR spirit, THACO annually funds many community activities in different areas, especially a total VND25 billion donated to the needy across the country in welcoming 2018 Lunar New Year.
THACO has been serving as the Super Cup Match sponsor in 4 consecutive years. It always looks forward to supporting Vietnamese football, added Mr. Mot.
The match co-organizers are Tien Phong Newspaper and the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company.
In January, THACO donated VND1 billion in cash to the Vietnam U23 team after they secured the 2018 Asian U23 Championship silver medals, and a KIA Optima sedan worth almost VND1 billion to Mr. Park Hang-seo, head coach of the team.
